Three Rotary Clubs Unite to Bring Hope, Peace, and Practical Support to Vulnerable Families

On Tuesday, July 14, members of the Rotary Clubs of Atlanta Brasil, Vinings Cumberland, and Smyrna came together in a powerful demonstration of Rotary’s commitment to Service Above Self. Working side by side, volunteers assembled 140 lunch sacks filled with sandwiches, chips, juice, and snacks for children and families served by The Table on Delk.

More than simply providing meals, this service project supported an organization that is making a profound difference in our community. The Table on Delk serves women, children, and families who are currently experiencing, or are at risk of, sexual exploitation and human trafficking. By offering a safe, welcoming environment, nutritious meals, compassionate relationships, and connections to essential resources, the organization helps restore hope, dignity, and stability to those who need it most.

Projects like this embody Rotary’s mission of building stronger communities and advancing one of our core Areas of Focus—Promoting Peace. Peace begins when people have access to safety, food, hope, and caring relationships. By helping meet these basic needs, Rotarians are contributing to a more secure and compassionate community where vulnerable individuals have greater opportunities to heal and thrive.

This collaboration among our three clubs also highlights the incredible impact that can be achieved when Rotary clubs work together. Through fellowship, partnership, and a shared commitment to service, we multiplied our reach and strengthened our ability to serve those in need.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and compassion to this project. Together, we demonstrated that even simple acts of kindness can create lasting change.

United in Service. United for Peace. United to Transform Lives.
