152 Meals Packed at The Table on Delk

Rotary Club Atlanta Brasil and Rotary Club of Vinings Cumberland serve together to pack meals for children

On October 13, 2026, volunteers from the Rotary Club Atlanta Brasil and the Rotary Club of Vinings Cumberland worked side by side at The Table on Delk to pack 152 meals for children.

In a few hours of service, our volunteers turned simple actions into meaningful support: nourishment for children, relief for families, and a reminder that community care matters.

  • A meal packed with care can help a child feel supported.
  • A family receiving food assistance may experience a little less stress.
  • A community coming together can create a greater sense of stability and belonging.

We also view this work as part of building peace through service. Peace can begin at home when basic needs are met, when children feel secure, and when families feel supported.

We are grateful to the Rotary Club of Vinings Cumberland for leading this important service effort and for welcoming Rotary Club Atlanta Brasil to serve alongside them once again.

Together, we packed 152 meals, but the impact goes beyond the number — each meal represented compassion in action.
