Rotary Clubs Serve Together at The Table on Delk

Rotary Club Atlanta Brasil joins Vinings Cumberland to prepare meals on September 8, 2026

Members of the Rotary Club Atlanta Brasil once again had the opportunity to serve our community through The Table on Delk, a service project led by the Rotary Club of Vinings Cumberland. Atlanta Brasil joined fellow Rotarians from Vinings Cumberland to work side by side, helping prepare and pack meals for children and families in need.

This partnership is a wonderful example of what happens when Rotary clubs come together to serve others. By combining our time, energy, and compassion, we can strengthen our impact and reach more people in our community.

Each meal prepared represents more than food. It represents care, compassion, dignity, and a reminder to families facing difficult circumstances that their community is standing beside them. For the Rotary Club Atlanta Brasil, participating in this project was another opportunity to put Rotary's motto, Service Above Self, into action while strengthening fellowship with another Rotary club.

We also believe that service like this can help create peace in our communities and peace at home. When basic needs such as food are met, families may experience greater stability, comfort, and hope.

Peace can begin with very simple acts:

  • A meal.
  • A helping hand.
  • Rotarians working together.
  • A community that cares.

We are grateful to the Rotary Club of Vinings Cumberland for leading this meaningful service project and for welcoming Rotary Club Atlanta Brasil to serve alongside them. Together, we demonstrated the power of Rotary partnerships and reminded ourselves that meaningful change often begins with ordinary people choosing to help.
